ALACD Online Survey

Presented on behalf of the Active Living Alliance for Canadians with a Disability (ALACD – www.ala.ca ), this is a request for volunteers to complete a short on-line survey.  Ideally the person/people who complete the survey would be those within an organization or community who influence others to support inclusionary programs, policies, practices and infrastructure, with respect to persons with disabilities participating in sport, recreation and physical activity.

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and will assist ALACD in developing a resource to support recreation practitioners to “make the case” to decision-makers for inclusive programs, policies, practices and infrastructure within organizations or communities.  ALACD will ensure the distribution of the final resource, and any related supports such as webinars, to organizations/communities.

The survey will close on April 14.

Supports address programming, policies and social and physical environments and includes the sharing of best practices, connect stakeholders, and shape attitudes, values and philosophies about inclusion in communities across the country.
