Description:
Inclusion Grants are established to enhance the inclusion of persons with disabilities and to enable greater participation in community opportunities through the removal of barriers. This is achieved by providing funding to eligible non-profit, community-based organizations to create or improve the accessibility of the built environment*. Inclusion Grants also offer funding to eligible non-profit, community-based organizations to provide disability-related accommodations to support participation in their events and meetings, such as sign language interpretation; Real time captioning; and audio support for assistive listening devices.

Let Them Be Kids

Organization: Let Them Be Kids
Description: Let Them Be Kids is an all volunteer, non-profit organization, community based organization. We act as a catalyst for the building of playgrounds, skate parks and fitness park across Canada and beyond. Since 2008, we have supported over 160 projects across Canada.

Maximum Funding Amount: A 50/50 match opportunity that gives the community a dollar of equipment buying power for every fifty cents they raise.
