CORE Challenge Started, October 15th!!
Recreation NL is kicking off its CORE Challenge, "Communities Mobilizing Through Recreation", by encouraging municipal leaders across the province to become involved in this 4 week physical activity challenge. The 4 weekly challenges are based around themes such as Feet First, Outdoor Venture, Go Play and Having a Time! All we ask is for municipal leaders to mobilize their communities by coming up with an activity or event that gets their community more active!
Recreation NL staff announced the CORE challenge at the MNL Convention Oct. 4-6th, 2012 in Gander and got our municipal leaders active by participating in a couple of activities during the tradeshow event at the convention. We would like to thank each and every community and councilor who have already signed up for the chalelnge and encourage those who havent signed up to fill out the online registration form today at www.recreationnl.com
