Town of Clarenville –Request for Proposals – Recreation Plan
December 2, 2016
The Town of Clarenville is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced, professional consulting firms to develop a progressive new Recreation Plan for the Town. The Recreation Plan will strategically guide the Town of Clarenville’s Recreation Department, in association with the Clarenville Area Recreation Association (CARA), until 2027 as it relates to capital and programming investment.
The Town is seeking a creative and innovative, demand-driven approach to the Recreation Plan development. The outcome must be a clear action plan to lead the Town in the development, expansion and delivery of recreational infrastructure; recreation/community programs and related services; the potential reconfiguration of existing facilities and resources; and human resource recommendations. The Recreation Plan will provide the Town with the necessary framework to manage its playgrounds, parks, open spaces, recreation and leisure services, programs, events, facilities and amenities in a cost-effective manner consistent with leading industry practices. The plan must be built within the realm of realistic vision, and fiscal realities.
The completion date for the work is set for April 28th, 2017.
